Holy Smokes Batman! It's been a busy few weeks!

I am excited to present the next two images of my latest series, but first, a quick run down:

I entered my cyanotype books in the Artist Book Competition at the ACA Library at SCAD Atlanta. It was a good experience for me to have, but not the experience I was looking for. Enough said about that. I do believe my books will be in the exhibition next week which is wonderful, so there was plenty of good that came from this competition. It just didn't wrap up the way I wanted it to.

But it's okay to be disappointed at times. It is always a reminder of why we work so hard, why we will always try to do something better the next time, why we continue to strive for excellence. It is always important to learn from your experiences and walk away with a new perspective. It helps us realign our goals and set our sights on new horizons. This has been one of those experiences for me.

I also presented my new project to the class in my first practice round for my Graduate 45 Hour Review. It went SO well! For me anyway. The presentation and the delivery went smoothly, and the reception was more than I could have hoped for. It was a wonderful feeling having people connect to your words and your images. It is what I continuously strive for, and it is so relieving to know that the work I have put into this project is finally paying off and coming to a head. It feels like its been forever sometimes, and sometimes it feels like I still have forever to go, but I am finally seeing some progress, and it feels great.

Which is why I am so excited to show you my next two time-lapse editing videos! I simplified the text from the videos on these and let the time-lapse speak for itself. It's been fun creating these as well because I like going back to watch my process. I hope you enjoy the newest episodes, and if you haven't noticed, there is now a full page on my website dedicated to Video Documentation, where you can find all of the videos I will upload for this body of work.

Thanks for watching, and enjoy!
